Hello! I am Shaokang, a second-year Ph.D. student in Computer Science at UC Davis, advised by Prof. Mohammad Sadoghi in the ExpoLab. I also serve as a Podling Project Management Committee (PPMC) member for the Apache ResilientDB open-source project. My research focuses on blockchain systems, consensus algorithms, and distributed database systems, with a recent emphasis on scaling high-performance Byzantine Fault Tolerant (BFT) consensus protocols through hardware acceleration techniques such as TEEs and RDMA.
Prior to joining UC Davis, I received my B.E. in Computer Science from SUSTech in China, where I worked under the supervision of Prof. Yinqian Zhang and Prof. Jianyu Niu in the Teecert Lab.
